Lambda Kappa Sigma is pleased to share the history of the Fraternity in this digital archive platform. Since its founding in 1913 as the first professional pharmacy fraternity for women in pharmacy, Lambda Kappa Sigma has grown into a dynamic organization with the mission to provide lifelong opportunities for women in pharmacy through professional excellence and personal growth. Lambda Kappa Sigma celebrates its Core Values of Sisterhood, Leadership, Service, Scholarship and Integrity.

As a fraternity that has already celebrated its centennial, Lambda Kappa Sigma has a rich history. The documents, images, and fraternity artifacts housed in at the Headquarters and at Chapter level provide an invaluable legacy of our strong, vibrant sisterhood and are vital to the continued promotion of that legacy through such publications as the Blue and Gold Triangle, Alumni Newsletter, LinKS and the Fraternity history books and supplements.

The Lambda Kappa Sigma Preservation and History Committee is dedicated to preserving and collecting artifacts, objects, publications, photographs and other historical information along with researching, and sharing our fraternity historical information to our sisterhood. The Committee gratefully accepts donations from individual members, collegiate chapters, and alumnae chapters that illustrate the purpose, activities, and policies of the Fraternity and its Chapters.

Please enjoy this site as a part of the Fraternity’s living history. Feel free to contact communications@lks.org or our History and Preservation Committee through out web site at www.lks.org.
